  1. Registration & Submission

    July 1 - September 15

    Online registration and submission of application materials. Participants must be high school students; team members must be from the same school.

  2. Material Review

    September 16 - September 30

    Submitted application materials are reviewed.

  3. Regional Evaluation

    October 1 - November 2

    Regional evaluations select candidates for the Global Final.

  4. Finalists Announcement

    November 3 - November 10

    Global finalists and their research reports are announced and confirmed.

  5. Global Final & Awards Ceremony

    December 5 - December 6

    Final competition conducted in English as an oral defense at Tsinghua University.

  6. Science Forum

    December 6

    Science forum event held alongside the final activities.
